Renovating the main drawing room in this period property involved a clever curtain installation. Two pairs of interlined curtains hung from classic wood poles with the south-facing Georgian window, which was taller, with an upholstered pelmet. The fabric was a heavy natural cotton and finished with plaited leather trim along the leading edges.
